Tottenham fans have erupted with anger after their side folded to go 5-0 down against Newcastle inside 21 minutes.
Facing fellow Eddie Howe’s European-chasing side at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon, Spurs completely collapsed to concede five early on.
Newcastle scored in the second, sixth, ninth, 19th and 21st minutes via Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak’s double, and Joelinton’s strike.
And supporters quickly took to social media to blast their side’s ’embarrassing and pathetic’ display.
Some even claimed the humiliation was their ‘worst day’ ever as a fan.

And supporters quickly took to social media to express their fury with the hapless players
One asked: ‘Are you not embarrassed?’, while a second said: ‘My God. We are pathetic.’
Another added: ‘I’m speechless this is ridiculous,’ followed by several cry-laughing emojis.
One continued: ‘A new low in a club full of lows,’ with another echoing his thoughts, tweeting: ‘Where do we go from here.
‘This is the worst experience I’ve ever had as a Spurs fan. Wow.’
A sixth added: ‘I am embarrassed to be a Tottenham fan today. It’s an absolute disgrace.’
Another posted: ‘This is the lowest point I’ve witnessed as a spurs fan.’
While one said: ‘Refund the away fans, in fact compensate them for this trauma you’ve put them through!’
And a ninth concluded: ‘What a total joke we are Levy please walk away and let someone else change this club.’
