Tottenham eyeing third Juventus deal as £60m star put ‘at the top of shortlist’
Daniel Levy 'furious' as Harry Kane holds 'secret transfer talks' with Bayern Munich
Tottenham are reportedly pursuing Juventus’ £60 forward Dusan Vlahovic as their top target to replace Harry Kane. Spurs maintain a very good working relationship with the Italian giants, following the completion of moves for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.
According to Foot Mercato, the north Londoners have placed the Serbian superstar ‘right at the top of their list’ in case Kane is sold this summer. During one and half seasons at the Allianz Arena, Vlahovic has bagged 17 goals in 41 league appearances.
He almost signed for Tottenham’s fierce rivals Arsenal in January 2022 but instead chose to join Juventus on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Fiorentina. It is understood that Juve are keener to sell Vlahovic than the likes of Federico Chiesa or Gleison Bremer and Tottenham are very interested.
Of course, this is all dependent on whether Spurs lose Kane this summer. Bayern Munich and PSG are actively pursuing the Englishman.
The Bavarian giants are currently preparing a third bid for the player after having a recent £70m offer knocked back while PSG are mounting their own offensive. According to RMC, PSG are extremely interested in acquiring Kane’s services and will do ‘everything possible’ to make the transfer happen.
The report adds that the club are expected to meet with the player’s representatives in London this week as they look to persuade him to come to Princes Park next season. Tottenham want a fee in the region of £100m for their skipper, which would be no problem for the mega-rich French giants.

Snapping Vlahovic up as his replacement won’t be a simple task for Spurs though. Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the player. Football.London claim the Blues are ‘long-time admirers’ of the Serb and feel he would be an excellent addition to their attacking line.
Chelsea managed to convert just 38 goals last season, the fifth-worst collective scoring rate in the Premier League. Only Bournemouth (37), Southampton (36), Everton (35) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (31) ranked worse.
Clearly, a new striker is a priority for Mauricio Pochettino and given Vlahovic’s proven track record of scoring 20-plus goals in Serie A, he is thought to be an ideal signing.
