Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte was understood to be fuming after his side were beaten 2-0 by Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday. Conte could therefore make a couple of changes when his side host Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Here is how Express Sport predicts the North Londoners will line up against the Foxes.
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris
Hugo Lloris will make his 425th appearance for Spurs on Saturday. The Frenchman recently moved into the top 10 for all-time appearances for the club.
Lloris has seen a lot during his Tottenham career and will hope for another successful season under Conte.
Defenders: Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, Ben Davies
Defender Eric Dier will be buoyed by his return to the England squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures against Italy and Germany. The 28-year-old has not featured for his country since November 2020, and his performances for Spurs mean a recall is richly deserved.
Cristian Romero has played in the last three matches having missed the best part of the previous month through injury. Dier and Romero are mainstays in Conte’s back three, while Ben Davies will battle with Clement Lenglet for the final spot on the left.
Davies will surely get the nod as Spurs prepare to face Leicester.

Midfielders: Matt Doherty, Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Ivan Perisic
Express Sport reckons Conte could make two changes to the side that lost so disappointingly in Portugal. The Italian had his team training the same morning that they arrived back in England, in a clear display of displeasure despite it being the club’s first defeat of the season.
One of those changes could come at wing-back, where Emerson Royal has struggled for form. Conte has said that summer signing Djed Spence is not quite ready to feature prominently, so Matt Doherty could earn a rare start.
Doherty has not started this season, making substitute appearances against Southampton and Marseille. Conte also has a choice to make on the left, where Ivan Perisic will hope to keep his place ahead of Ryan Sessegnon.

Attackers: Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane, Richarlison
Another of the changes could see Conte make a big decision in attack. The usually reliable Son Heung-min has failed to score this season, leaving him fighting to remain in the starting 11.
Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison have performed far better than the South Korean, who could drop out of a Premier League line-up for the first time this term. Harry Kane could start alongside Kulusevski and Richarlison.
