Tottenham confirm that Lucas Moura will leave when his contract expires this summer after five-and-a-half years at the club, with Brazilian having made just 13 Premier League appearances this season

Tottenham have confirmed that Lucas Moura will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.
Moura has been at Tottenham since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018 but he is now set to depart.
Tottenham decided against activating their option of extending Moura’s contract by another year.
A statement on Tottenham’s official website read: ‘We can confirm that Lucas Moura is to leave the Club at the end of the season following the conclusion of his contract.’
In total Moura made 218 appearances for Tottenham, during which he scored 38 goals and provided 27 assists.

In August 2019 Moura scored 19 seconds after he came on against Manchester City
The former Brazil international’s most memorable game for Tottenham came in 2019 when he scored a hat-trick away to Ajax including a stoppage-time winner which saw his side progress to the Champions League final.
He started in Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the 2021 Carabao Cup final.
Having featured prominently over the past four seasons, Moura has been used less frequently for Tottenham this season and has made just 13 Premier League appearances, with injury not helping his cause. He has also been involved for Tottenham Under-21 side this season.
Tottenham host Brentford on Saturday in what could be Moura’s final home appearance for the club. They then conclude the campaign away to Leeds.
In August 2019 Moura scored just 19 seconds after coming on against Manchester City.
