Tottenham confirm Champions League clash is on as planned after website error
Tottenham have confirmed that their Champions League fixture away at Sporting Lisbon will go ahead on Tuesday – despite their website having it listed as postponed.
After all Premier League and Football League fixtures were pushed back from this weekend as a mark of respect for the passing of Queen Elizabeth II – fans were expecting to see their side in action in Europe.
However, a 'technical error' on the Spurs website listed their Group D fixture as postponed despite the game being on as normal as both sides look to go three points clear at the top.

"We can confirm this is incorrect – the match is going ahead as planned. We are looking into the issue urgently and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Adding: "The technical issue on our website is now fixed. We thank our fans for their patience on this matter."
