Jose Mourinho has received a strong word of warning from Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy regarding any transfer plans to poach his former players, according to reports. Spurs sacked Mourinho last month with Ryan Mason being confirmed as the interim manager until the end of the season.
Tottenham want to take their time in finding a permanent replacement for Mourinho with a host of names being linked.
But Mourinho has already secured his next job and will take over at Serie A side AS Roma in the summer.
And reports have suggested that he is hoping to raid his former team to build a squad of his own in Italy.
Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are said to be at the top of his wishlist, with the two proving to be key players during Mourinho’s final season at Tottenham.

However, Mourinho has already been told that Spurs have no interest in selling either player.
That’s according to The Sun, who claim Dier and Hojberj are not up for sale.
A club insider said: “There is no way we would sell either of these players.
“Of course, the new manager would have the final say.
DON’T MISS
“But you cannot see who whoever comes in wanting to let them go either.
“Both are incredibly important members of the team and you cannot see that changing.”
The report goes on to add that neither Dier or Hojbjerg would want to leave Tottenham and re-join their former manager.
Spurs’ next manager will likely want to get to work on building his own squad during the summer transfer window.
Antonio Conte and Brendan Rodgers appear to be the main targets for Tottenham, but Jamie O’Hara believes his former side needs to be more “realistic”.
“I think we should be going for Antonio Conte or Brendan Rodgers, but Spurs are living in cuckoo land at the moment… we’re pretenders! We haven’t won anything!” O’Hara told talkSPORT.
“We’re a top-ten football club in the world, financially, but we haven’t actually won anything! How have we pulled that off?!
“So we have to be realistic right now, and I think being realistic is getting a Scott Parker or a Graham Potter and seeing where that takes us.”
