Manchester United were once again left to rue their missed chances as Southampton came back from behind to secure a 1-1 draw.
Ralf Rangnick's side got off to the perfect start when Jason Sancho tapped home his first Premier League goal at Old Trafford in the first-start.
The £73million summer signing was inspirational in the first-half, creating numerous chances for the Reds, the best of which falling to Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Ralph Hasenhuttl's men emerged from the dressing room with purpose, and immediately levelled the contest through Che Adams precise finish in the 47th minute.
While the away side may be slightly disappointed they did not find a winner, all the pressure will be mounted on Rangnick;'s shoulders.
Daily Star Sport takes a look at three things Rangnick got wrong.
Lack of killing instinct
In what is becoming a far too familiar trait for United fans, the Red Devils were unable to make their first-half dominance count.
After creating more than enough to wrap up the points within the opening 45 minutes, Southampton stayed in the game and levelled the scored with their first chance of the second half.
Ronaldo’s missed opportunity within the first ten minutes, which saw him skip around Forster, but drag his resulting effort so much, Perraud had enough time to clear off the line.
The draw against the Saints was the third time in four Premier League matches that they have dropped points from a winning position.
If they cannot stem this frustrating habit, then the next permanent manager will not take over a Champions League side.

Ronaldo came into the contest with his longest goal drought in 12 seasons.
Unfortunately, the normally unfazed and focused Portuguese legend looked to be playing with even more pressure on his shoulders.
All his efforts were either under-hit, slammed straight at Forster, or both, as the former Real Madrid and Juventus ace seemed to lack conviction in his efforts.
Defence issues again
While Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, and Paul Pogba seemed to work well as a midfield trio, United’s back four struggled once again.
Harry Maguire, in particular, has found himself on the brunt of fierce criticism, but summer signing Raphael Varane also struggled against the Saints.
Adams ghosted behind him for Southampton’s levelling goal, while Kyle Walker-Peters flew past him to create a huge chance in the first half.
While it is easy to focus on the errors of individuals, something is not ticking in the United defence.
Rangnick will need to address these issues, and quickly, if he is to depart the club at the end of the season with United in the top four.
