Tottenham fans show support for Israel

Despite warnings from the Premier League and a reminder from Spurs, who have longstanding links to the Jewish community, there was visible support for Israel among the home crowd during the minutes’ silence for those who lost their lives in Israel and Gaza. At least 14 Israel flags were held aloft while the silence was interrupted by pro-Israel shouts.

That run ended last night when the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was treated to some Maddison magic and, finally, his first goal contribution at his new home when he scored the second.
