A number of Rangers fans on social media – and one fan website – have called for Tavernier to be stripped of the captaincy for not fronting up after a shocking performance at Ibrox.
But is can be revealed the English right-back was randomly selected by UEFA anti-doping to give samples after the final whistle at Ibrox.
