Spurs ‘too reliant’ on Kane and should ‘cash in’ to fund Postecoglou rebuild
Tottenham have been told to sell Harry Kane on the arrival of Ange Postecoglou because they have become 'too reliant' on the striker to progress.
Micah Richards has told Spurs to let the England captain leave with 12 months still on his contract in order to rebuild in their quest to return to Champions League football.
Kane managed another 30 Premier League goals despite the club slipping down to eighth place under first Antonio Conte and then Ryan Mason, with Postecoglou now set to join the club from Celtic.

"They're too reliant on him," Richards told BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club of Kane, adding: "He's got to let him go. He's got to get as much money as possible for him and allow Spurs to rebuild their team.
"They're too reliant on Kane. Every time you see who scored for them, it's Kane, Kane, Kane. They need something more."
He concluded: "I think it's time now. I'm sure Spurs fans would say: 'You've given everything for us, let's get some money for him, just cash in now and start again'."

Kane is considered one of the best forwards on the planet thanks to his finishing and passing ability – but is yet to win a major trophy.
Despite that, the 29-year-old is well on course to beat Alan Shearer's Premier League record goals tally of 260 having scored 213 times across 121 fewer appearances.
The latest club linked to Kane is Real Madrid with Karim Benzema announcing his intention to leave less than a year after winning the Ballon d'Or.
Speaking on speculation regarding his own future at the end of the campaign, Kane said: "That’s part and parcel of being a footballer – especially when you’re at the top of your game.
"I’ve just been focusing on this season and trying to help the team as much as possible.
"To score a couple today was nice, to finish that way, but all in all I’m just looking forward to a nice break and then a couple of games with England."
