Paulo Bento’s side drew 0-0 with Uruguay in their World Cup opener on Thursday in a tight clash that was lacking quality at the sharp end of the pitch for both outfits.

It was a good result for South Korea against their South American counterparts who are ranked 14 places above them in the FIFA World Rankings, keeping their qualification hopes alive.

He is wearing a protective mask at the tournament, while there is further Premier League presence in the South Korean squad with Wolves forward Hwang Hee-chan.
