Tottenham’s style icon Son Heung-min has been unveiled as one of the faces of Ralph Lauren for Wimbledon this summer.

The South Korean featured in the fashion company’s ‘spirit of sportsmanship’ campaign, where he donned a number of Wimbledon-themed outfits ahead of the tournament in SW19 later this month.

While Son is worth millions to Spurs for his on-the-pitch ability, he looked worth every penny off of it as he posed in a dapper blue suit – the kind that is often seen around Wimbledon at this time of year.

Ralph Lauren are the official outfitters of The Championships at Wimbledon and supply all the umpires, line judges and ball boys and girls with the uniform for it.

Along with his dashing blue suit, Son also pulled off a traditional creamy white V-neck jumper with a herringbone jacket over the top alongside surfer Lucy Campbell, who is also one of the faces of the campaign.

Son said: ‘Sportsmanship is timeless. You can play good, you can play bad, you can be an unbelievable player.

‘Everyone wants to be a winner, everyone wants to be the champion, but we have to show respect.’

Lions rugby star Maro Itoje also starred in the campaign alongside Son, Campbell and ballet dancer Francesca Hayward.

Itoje said: ‘The best way to describe Wimbledon is quintessentially British.

‘In terms of the culture, in terms of the strawberries and cream, it’s an event that is British to it’s core.’

With Premier League football not on the agenda for Son at the moment, Spurs have been in talks to sign the winger to a new long-term deal.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed the 28-year-old is close to committing himself to the club but remains locked in talks as it stands.
