Solskjaer outlines his Bruno Fernandes rest plans amid hectic Man Utd schedule
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he has no intention of giving Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes a rest.
The Portugal international has been an almost ever present for United this season to help lead them to the top of the Premier League table.
But the midfielder showed signs of being jaded during United's disappointing goalless draw at Liverpool last weekend.
Fernandes produced one of his worst performances at Anfield since joining United 12 months ago and missed a great chance to win the game.
But Solskjaer reckons there is no chance of Fernandes admitting he is struggling – and expects him to line up against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Wednesday.
Solskjaer said: "His form is very good and he's just been voted player of the month.
"He's not tired, no chance. He is one of the players who covers the ground in every game. He's very good at recovering and recharging his batteries.
"If he had scored on Sunday he would have been lauded as best player in the Premier League. He has been immense.
Gary Neville is treating Man Utd "like a small club", slams Jamie Carragher
“If I ask him, there is absolutely no chance he will say he is tired.
"He is expected to create and score goals. Sometimes the fine margins are against him, but he is always on the verge of creating something.
“That is the position I want him in. That is what he has been told to do. I want him to do that."
