Sheikh Jassim set to miss out on amazing Man Utd transfer if bid succeeds
LGBTQ+ activist concerned by potential Qatari takeover of Man Utd
If Sheikh Jassim succeeds in buying Manchester United, there’s been talk of a potential move for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe. However, the France international has now ruled out a departure from the Parc des Princes this summer. That also represents a blow to Real Madrid, who have long admired the forward.
Mbappe would be a top signing for any club to make.
And with United needing a new striker, while Sheikh Jassim battles to seize power, the France international has been linked with a blockbuster move to Old Trafford.
However, the 24-year-old has now made it clear he’ll stay at PSG despite talk of a potential departure.
“There’s no more links about my future? I’m very happy here at PSG and with my choice to be part of this project,” he said while speaking on stage at a special Ligue 1 event on Sunday.
“I will be here at PSG next season.”

While that’s the case, however, Mbappe’s long-term future at the club remains up in the air.
Last year, the France international signed a new deal that ties him to the club until 2025.
Except, that’s not really the case. His extension was two years, with an option of a third.
That means Mbappe could feasibly leave the club on a free transfer in 12 months’ time, which would be a nightmare scenario for PSG.
Real Madrid have long been considered frontrunners for the 2018 World Cup winner, having admired him ever since his time at Monaco.

United also bid for Mbappe during his time in Monte Carlo, with the Red Devils offering £72million back in 2017.
However, the forward ultimately moved to PSG instead and he’s been there ever since – winning five Ligue 1 titles in the time since.
With Mbappe seemingly beyond United’s reach, it’ll be interesting to see who they pursue as they seek a new No 9.
Harry Kane seems to be Erik ten Hag’s preferred target, having flourished for Tottenham despite another nightmare campaign in north London.
Landing the England international won’t be straightforward, however, with Spurs set to demand as much money as possible for their talisman.

United are admirers of Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
Yet given his importance to the Serie A giants, it’s hard to see the new champions of Italy letting the Nigeria international go without a fight.
United have emerged as potential suitors for Dusan Vlahovic, who was previously a target for Ralf Rangnick during his time in the dugout.
Murmurings from Italy have suggested he’ll stay loyal to Juventus, however, despite their recent points deduction.
Lautaro Martinez and Goncalo Ramos, of Inter Milan and Benfica respectively, have been linked as well.
And United have been tipped to pursue Mohammed Kudus, who could be sold by Ajax when the transfer window reopens.
Regarding Mbappe, meanwhile, the PSG star was named Ligue 1 player of the season for the fourth time in a row on Sunday.
And he reacted to that development by saying: “I want to thank the players, the staff, all the people working in the shadows.
“I’ve always wanted to leave a mark. I did not expect to win so much so early, but I’m happy to make history in my country.”
