Sheikh Jassim decides on three Man Utd transfer deals in Neymar U-turn

Ratcliffe leaves Old Trafford after Man Utd takeover talks

Manchester United takeover bidder Sheikh Jassim has devised plans for three major transfer deals if he is successful in acquiring the club from the Glazer family. The Qatari’s bid, led by his charity The Nine Two Foundation, is likely to involve lavish spending after lodging a third offer for the club believed to be in the region of £5billion, but there has been a change in stance on his interest in bringing Neymar to Old Trafford.

Sheikh Jassim has vowed to invest heavily in transfers to help transform United into one of the best teams in the world and Erik ten Hag is likely to be handed a blank cheque to decide which players to bring in.

But there are three players that the billionaire definitely wants if he is successful in acquiring the club, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe also battling to take control of the Red Devils.

According to Bild’s transfer expert Christian Falk, United could move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe, Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman and Real Madrid youngster Eduardo Camavinga – all of whom are France internationals.

Erik ten Hag will be keen to receive word of the club’s summer budget for new additions once a takeover is completed, as reports had stated that the Dutchman wants a marquee striker to arrive before pre-season training. And that could see Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen arrive too with United expected to enjoy a busy transfer window once the takeover goes through.

But it remains to be seen whether deals for Mbappe and Coman would affect those plans if Sheikh Jassim is insistent that the club moves for the French pair.

Either way, it could spell the end of any chance Neymar had of securing a move to the Premier League giants, as reports had initially suggested last week.
