QPR’s playoff hopes took a hammering on Friday night, while Sheffield United’s had a boost as Rangers slipped to a defeat to the Blades at Loftus Road in the penultimate game of the season.
Rangers got off to a strong start as Charlie Austin headed home from Albert Adomah’s cross to open the scoring after half an hour
But Iliman Ndiaye levelled for Sheffield shortly after the break with a right-footed shot from close range to the high centre of the goal following a corner.
Jack Robinson then put the visitors ahead with a header from the centre of the box to the top left corner, before Conor Hourihane sealed the win in injury time.
