Seven Tottenham stars ‘could leave’ alongside Harry Kane in Arne Slot rebuild
At least seven players could be set to leave Tottenham this summer and that doesn’t even account for the future of Harry Kane which remains largely uncertain. Daniel Levy knows the club’s next boss and sporting director have their work cut out trying to assemble a squad capable of challenging for major trophies and there is now more pressure than ever to get things right as supporters continue to call for his head.
Tottenham have held positive discussions with Feyenoord boss Arne Slot, who has now emerged as the frontrunner for the job.
Spurs are expected to land the Dutchman if his agent Rafaela Pimenta manages to convince Feyenoord to free him from his contract – at the right price – when they hold talks on Wednesday in Holland.
Slot is believed to want the move after guiding Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title and although a deal is far from complete, it now looks increasingly likely that he could be the man to replace Ryan Mason at the end of the season.
But should an agreement materialise, Slot’s main task this summer will be to somehow find a way of rebuilding Tottenham’s depleted ranks with several players heading for the exit door.

Tottenham have already confirmed that Lucas Moura will be leaving the club after five-and-a-half years in north London upon the expiry of his contract.
Loanee Arnaut Danjuma does not seem likely to remain at the club either, although Slot’s Dutch connection with the winger could perhaps see Spurs reconsider a deal if the Feyenoord boss lands the role.
Elsewhere, captain Hugo Lloris is finally expected to depart Tottenham after a series of struggles this season.
The Frenchman is wanted by clubs in Saudi Arabia, where he could receive a life-changing contract if he is bold enough to walk away from European football.

The report also references that some are tipping Ivan Perisic for a surprise early exit from north London following an underwhelming debut Premier League season.
Davinson Sanchez could also follow the likes of Lloris out of the door after a very challenging campaign that even saw him booed by Tottenham supporters in the 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth.
Eric Dier is yet to agree a new contract with the club and that reportedly throws his future into doubt after another turbulent campaign.
Japhet Tanganga could also finally head for the exit door after struggling for minutes this season under both Antonio Conte and interim boss Mason.
It’s shaping up to be a long list of potential exits for Tottenham and that’s without including Kane plus returning loanees Giovani Lo Celso, Bryan Gil and Tanguy Ndombele.
The huge plus is that Tottenham can generate some cash this summer to bolster their spending power.
With Spurs currently on course to finish outside of the European places, player sales will now prove key to their finances.
If Tottenham are to make a play when it comes to keeping Kane, the England captain will want to see some ambition from Spurs in the summer transfer market.
