Seven best players to play for both Man City and Arsenal amid Jesus talks
Gabriel Jesus' five year relationship with Manchester City could be coming to an end with Mikel Arteta looking to sign the Brazilian for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are said to have been monitoring the City star as Arteta looks to bolster his attacking options next season. Talks between Jesus and the Gunners' director Edu have been ongoing since November as the club prepares for the most important transfer windows in the Spaniard's tenure yet.
Jesus who joined Pep Guardiola's side from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras in 2017, is yet to reach his prime, at the age of 25. The playmaker remains open to leaving the current Premier League champions.
Having previously spoken about Arteta from his time at City as one of Guardiola's coaching assistants, he said: "He's helped a lot of players. When I want to do finishing after training, I tell him and he comes and helps me.
"So he is really fantastic for us. All the players know that — everyone knows that in the club. He is a fantastic guy and fantastic manager. I don't honestly know what he thinks about his career, that is for him. I hope he can find his way and I hope he can be happy."
With Jesus being linked with a move to the Emirates, the Daily Star Sport takes a look at the seven best players to have played for both City and Arsenal over the last few years.

Emmanuel Adebayor
The striker represented City for three seasons between 2009 and 2012, making 34 appearances, while contributing to 15 goals. Prior to his move to City, Adebayor was at Arsenal for three seasons between 2006 and 2009.
He was a key player for then manager Arsene Wenger, making over 100 appearances for the Gunners, scoring a total of 46 goals.
Samir Nasri
The former France international joined Arsenal from Marseille in 2008 and made just under 90 appearances across his three-year spell at the club. His move to then Roberto Mancini's side came in 2011. Nasri cemented his place in the Citizens' team during a six year connection with the club. Though his last season was spent at Spanish side Sevilla during the 2016/17 season.
Kolo Toure
The former centre-back spent seven seasons at the Emirates from 2002 until 2009, but struggled to cement a place in the side in his first few years in north London. He didn't make his debut until his second season in the FA Community Shield clash with Liverpool in 2002.
He helped Arsenal to reach the 2006 Champions League final after forming an incredible partnership with Philippe Senderos, keeping 10 consecutive clean sheets in the competition. In the end he made over 220 appearances for the club, before moving on to City where he stayed for three seasons, before signing for Liverpool.
Nicolas Anelka
The former France international joined the Gunners at the age of 17 after a year at French giants Paris Saint-Germain in 1997. His opportunities during the first season were limited, until he became a replacement for striker Ian Wright who had suffered a long-term injury. Anelka became Arsenal's top goal scorer in the 1998/99 season and helped the Gunners to the double, winning both the Premier League and the FA Cup in 1997.
He then left for Spanish giants Real Madrid where he failed to establish himself, and returned to PSG the following year. His move to the Etihad came in 2002 as he made the £13million move, during the tenure of then manager Kevin Keegan.
Patrick Vieira
The now-Crystal Palace manager joined Arsenal in 1996, where he stayed for nine years. He was influential to Arsenal winning the domestic league and FA Cup double during the 1997/98 season. He then went on to make over 270 appearances for the club, before a £13.75million move to Italian giants Juventus.
Vieira later signed for City on a sixth-month deal during the 2010/11 season, before announcing his retirement at the age of 35.
Gael Clichy
The current Servette player arrived at Arsenal from French side Cannes in 2003. Clichy spent eight seasons in the North London side where he made 187 appearances. Under then manager Wenger, he was initially a back up to former England international Ashley Cole.
The move to the Etihad then came in 2011 for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around £7million.
David Seaman
The goalkeeper signed for Arsenal in 1990 from Queens Park Rangers, after a four-year spell at the London side. Seaman made in total 405 appearances for the Gunners, and has certainly become a fans favourite.
He was later released by Arsenal and joined up with then manager Keegan at City in the summer of 2003. His career at City did not last long however, as he announced retirement the following year, at the age of 40.
