Serge Gnabry drops sneaky transfer hint as Bayern star ‘eyes Arsenal return’
Serge Gnabry has dropped a cryptic transfer bombshell with the Bayern Munich star seemingly interested in a return to Arsenal.
The German international, 26, was sold by the Gunners to Werder Bremen in 2016 for a cut-price £8m but has maintained he is "always a Gunner" in a previous interview.
Since leaving the Emirates, Gnabry has gone on to establish himself as one of the world's leading wingers with 42 goals in 113 appearances for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
But now it appears Die Roten's wideman could be on the move again; Gnabry has just 18 months remaining on his contract in Bavaria.
In a mysterious post on social media, Gnabry is seen donning classic shirts from Bayern Munich and Germany but also threw one in from Arsenal for good measure.
The photo has sparked a storm online with Gunners fans crazed with excitement about a possible return.
A serial winner since moving back to his homeland, Gnabry has achieved continental and world domination at Bayern Munich.
A three-time Bundesliga winner, the German has also claimed Champions League and Club World Cup crowns with Julian Nagelsmann's side also on course for another domestic title this campaign.

Once deemed as not good enough by Tony Pulis at West Bromwich Albion, Gnabry has proved his doubters wrong with glittering success after leaving Arsenal.
But the 26-year-old has always had an affinity with the Gunners faithful. In a 2019 interview with Pro Direct, Gnabry declared he was "always a Gunner".
Now, with less than two years remaining on his contract, Arsenal fans are hoping the stars are aligning for the German's homecoming – especially if they are able to secure Champions League football.
