Robert Lewandowski’s 500th career goal helped Bayern Munich canter past Bundesliga basement boys Schalke, moving the leaders seven points clear at the top.
The Pole joins Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the only active players to reach the milestone, scoring on-the-spin after 54 minutes.
By that point Bayern were already ahead, with Thomas Muller nodding in a wonderful cross from Joshua Kimmich after 33 minutes.

David Alaba finished off the performance with a long-range strike spilled by Ralf Fahrmann
