Saudis offer Mo Salah three incentives to leave Liverpool in record £215m bid

Saudi Arabia side Al Ittihad are reportedly offering Mohamed Salah a number of incentives to leave Liverpool with the Reds pondering a world-record bid worth £215million for the Egyptian. Liverpool’s stance in not wanting to sell their biggest asset looks set to be put to the test in the coming days.

A Saudi Arabian delegation have reportedly been in London since last week, laying on the charm to try and convince Salah of a move to the Gulf state. An initial offer worth around £150m was immediately rejected by Liverpool, who repeated their insistence the winger was not for sale.

Speaking after Liverpool’s impressive 3-0 win over Aston Villa, Jurgen Klopp also stated that Salah has shown no indication to him that he wants to leave. He said: “He’s our player, he wants to play here and that’s it.”

But Al Ittihad haven’t given up in their attempt to sign Salah with The Sun reporting they’ve now sent Liverpool a new world-record bid worth a whopping £215m. The 31-year-old is said to have been offered wages worth a staggering £2.45m a week.

And there are added incentives for Salah to leave Merseyside, including a ‘£55,000 win bonus’. Salah would also get a large share of his shirt sales as well as ‘ambassadorial roles for at least three major Saudi companies’, which would be worth an extra £18m.
