Football fans will be able to watch the Saudi Pro League on UK television this season – after DAZN secured the rights.
Sky Sports had picked up the digital rights to broadcast games last season, after Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Al Nassr. And the Portuguese megastar has now been joined by a slew of megastars in the Middle East.
According to the Daily Mail, streaming service DAZN have now acquired the rights for the new season – which kicks off on Friday. The report states DAZN will also broadcast games in Germany and Austria, and they hope to extend their coverage to the United States.
Currently, in the UK, DAZN holds the rights to broadcast the Women's Champions League and Coupe de France.

The Saudi Arabian season, like the Premier League, will kick off on Friday – as Al-Ahli and Al-Hazm clash. However, the pick of the weekend's games comes on Monday, as Ronaldo's Al Nassr take on Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq.
Al Ettifaq have added a number of European stars to their ranks over the summer – with Jordan Henderson, Jack Hendry, and Moussa Dembélé all moving to the Middle East.

However, Al Ettifaq aren't the only Saudi club to have added a number of superstars to their ranks this summer – with the Saudi league being on the tip of everyone's tongue.
Ex-Premier League players such as Ruben Neves, Ngolo Kante, and Riyad Mahrez have all pitched up in Saudi. While Sergej Milinković-Savić, Sadio Mane, and Jason Denayer – who all impressed on the continent – have made the switch.
Now UK-based fans will be able to watch their favourite stars after DAZN secured the rights.
