Sandro Tonali visits ice cream parlour days after Newcastle star heads to Spoons
Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali has been spotted again out and about in the North East, just days after the Italian international sampled his first ever Wetherspoons.
The midfielder enjoyed a stellar start to life on Tyneside, helping the Magpies dismantle Unai Emery's Aston Villa 5-1 in their Premier League opener last weekend. It was Tonali who opened the scoring for Newcastle, finding the back of the net after just six minutes into his Premier League debut.
The Italian celebrated his debut man of the match performance in style, by booking a table at a Gosforth Wetherspoons just outside the city centre, where he took time to pose with a fan who asked for a selfie.
And it appears Tonali is in no mood to stop seeing what Newcastle and the surrounding area has to offer. Following their win over Aston Villa, Newcastle were given a day off, with Tonali seeing this as an opportunity to head down the coast to visit Tynemouth.

While there, he was snapped visiting ice cream truck 'Scoopalicious', posing for a picture with a staff member where he even managed to show off a smile. And there were plenty of football fans on social media trying to predict where Tonali might pop up next.
One fan joked on Twitter: "Be in cosy joes next!" which is a popular karaoke bar in Newcastle's Bigg Market. Another added: "I heard hes going popworld next. Soon as he gets back from manchester on Saturday."

Another fan claimed Tonali was only turning up at places recommended by Geordie team-mates Sean Longstaff and Dan Burn, writing: "This is 100% just Sean Longstaff and Dan Burn telling him all these places."
And a fourth said: "Reminds me of Rafa touring Gateshead and posing with the Angel of the North."

This weekend sees Newcastle and Tonali travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City, who will be without Kevin De Bruyne.
The 32-year-old limped off in Man City's Premier League opener after just 23 minutes, with Pep Guardiola later confirming the Belgian midfielder may need surgery on the hamstring injury he picked up.
