Sam Allardyce has admitted he just used to "get rid" of party animals when he was in charge at clubs.
Allardyce is currently out of work after he failed to guide Leeds United to safety in the Premier League last season. And speaking on the I Had Trials Once… podcast, Allardyce revealed an insight into his managerial style.

"200 odd goals in 300 odd games 6ft"4 – and was just a party animal. He just never stopped partying!"

Jardel was already an accomplished striker in South America when he finally made the switch to Europe. The Brazilian had won the Copa Libertadores with Gremio in 1995, before he moved to Portugal with Porto.
At Porto, Jardel was crowned as Europe's Golden Boot winner twice – but his career started to spiral after moving to Allardyce's Bolton in 2003.

Jardel never managed to find the net in the Premier League for Bolton – but he did net twice in the League Cup, both times against Walsall.
The Brazilian was gone come January 2004, when he joined Italian side Ancona on loan, where he was called "lardo" by the Italian supporters. Jardel returned to Bolton the following summer, but he was promptly sold.
