Ezgjan Alioski won't be forgetting his latest encounter with Bukayo Saka anytime soon – as the Arsenal star boy proved to be worth his weight in gold.

Saka was sublime for England on Monday evening, scoring three times as the Three Lions routed North Macedonia 7-0 at Old Trafford. His performance was best summed up by his second of the evening – after taking down Trent Alexander-Arnold's long ball with the deftest of touches, Saka flicked the ball up and let fly.

The ball flew pasted a hapless Stole Dimitrievski in the North Macedonian net. A few moments later Saka completed his hat-trick – leading some England fans to joke Saudi Arabia might come calling.

"Realistically, we can’t let Saka go to Saudi without a £600million fee and 20% of the annual GDP going forward," one fan joked. As a second added: "Saka needs to calm down before those Saudi Sheikhs start developing some ideas!"

The Three Lions took almost half an hour to finally get off the mark, which they did through Harry Kane, before Saka lashed home his first of the game.

It was a lovely finish, turning on a dime, before thundering the ball past Dimitrievski at his near post. Marcus Rashford then added his name to the scoresheet before half-time.

England flew out of the blocks in the second period through Saka's masterpiece two minutes into the second half. Three minutes later he had his hat trick.

This time, he calmly slotted the ball past Dimitrievski, pushing the scoreline into the realms of embarrassment for North Macedonians. Saka's evening was done after his third, and six minutes later Gareth Southgate hooked him for Phil Foden.

The floodgates soon opened for England as Kalvin Phillips turned the ball home for 6-0 before Kane notched his second from the spot to make it seven.

England moved to a perfect four wins from four games with the 7-0 win, having already breezed past Ukraine, Italy, and Malta. The Three Lions are next in action in September, when they will play their 'away' game against Ukraine.
