Sadio Mane has broken Liverpool fans' hearts after he found the net within three minutes against Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Pro League swung into action over the weekend, and Monday evening's fixture saw Al-Ettifaq clash with Cristiano Ronaldo and Mane's Al-Nassr. Ronaldo wasn't part of the action, missing out due to injury, but Mane steeped up to the plate turning the ball home in the opening minutes of the clash.

Liverpool fans were conflicted – with Mane netting against his former team-mates Gerrard and Jordan Henderson.

"At the same time I spoke with Fabinho because he was quite close to me and he also wanted me to come to Al-Ittihad, but I chose Al-Nassr."

Meanwhile, Gerrard's Saudi have their fair share of familiar faces. Alongside Henderson is the ex-Celtic duo of Jack Hendry and Moussa Dembele. Robin Quaison, who was once highly-touted as a youngster, also turns out for the outfit.
