Ryan Giggs was having "full on relationships" with at least eight other women while going out with Kate Greville, the court has heard on the second day of the ex-Manchester United footballer's trial.
Giggs is accused of intimidating, threatening and physically assaulting 36-year-old Kate Greville, his former partner, between August 2017 and November 2020, accusations he strenuously denies.
On Tuesday, the court heard Ms Greville speak about an incident where she checked Mr Giggs' phone after he "came home drunk" one evening to discover he'd spent the day with another woman.
She told the court that when she dumped him, Giggs turned up at her house holding a puppy, telling her they should get engaged. He sent her and her friends flowers and even got his mum to ring her.
Ms Greville decided to leave the 48-year-old for good and, after going through his iPad, she found that he allegedly had relationships with eight other women while seeing her.
"There were eight women he was having affairs with, full-on relationships that had gone on constantly from 2014. It was literally all there in black and white," she told the court. "There were messages to his friends calling her a "slag" and a "silly cow" and "I just need the bars to open now so I can go out and pull some cl**ge."
Ms Greville also claims she was concerned she had an STD after finding the messages, and went to the doctors to get tested, with the results coming back clear.
In another incident, Giggs allegedly threw his ex-girlfriend out into a hotel corridor while she was naked and refused to let her back inside while the two were holidaying in Dubai back in 2017.
"He came to Dubai and we were in a club and I could see he was messaging a girl. I said ‘Are you messaging a girl?’ and he flipped," Ms Greville said. "He went up to my face and said ‘How dare you f****** accuse me, it’s my daughter, we’re done’," Ms Greville added.
"I ran back to the hotel, got into bed, I said something to him and he flipped again. I had no clothes on, he grabbed me by the wrist so hard and dragged me into the lounge. Put me on the floor, got all my suitcase, belongings, make up. He threw me out the door naked and shut the door and wouldn’t let me back in.
"When I went back in and he wouldn’t speak to me so I apologised to him. He said 'You made me do these things'. He said he didn’t want to be with me anymore, and he put it on me… I started begging him to take me back."
Giggs was charged with assaulting Ms Greville and causing her actual bodily harm at his home in November 2020, as well as and common assault against her younger sister, Emma, in the same alleged incident, which again, he denies.
He stepped back from his role as Wales manager in light of the arrest and officially resigned the post last month on the eve of the trial.
