Rodriguez enjoyed her time away with Ronaldo who will be joined by a host of other footballing stars in Saudi Arabia next season.

Since Ronaldo made his ground-breaking move to the Middle East in January, former Real Madrid team-mate and Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema joined Saudi Pro League champs Al Ittihad alongside N’Golo Kante who moved from Chelsea.
CR7 will be joined by ex-Inter Milan midfielder Milan Brozovic at Al-Nassr, whilst Roberto Firmino, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Navas have all made the switch to Saudi Arabia from the Premier League ahead of the new campaign.

But their second-placed finish will see the five-time Champions League winner attempt to win the Asian Champions League for the first time in the club’s history after they previously finished runners-up in 1995.
