Ronaldo ‘makes contact’ with Man Utd and PSG as star considers Juve exit
Cristiano Ronaldo's team have reportedly made contact with Manchester United, Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid amid doubts over his future at Juventus.
Ronaldo, 36, only has a year remaining on his current Juve deal and is believed to be in talks with the club over a potential extension.
However, ESPN claim his representatives are still gauging interest from some of Europe's top clubs, including former sides United and Madrid.
The Portugal captain netted 36 goals in 44 games last season but was unable to inspire Juve to another Serie A title, with Andrea Pirlo's men only just sneaking into the top four on the final day of the campaign.
As a result, Ronaldo is understood to be considering his future in Turin this summer and has therefore sounded out United, PSG and Madrid over a potential move.
His team have held talks with Massimiliano Allegri, who has returned for a second stint as Juve boss following Pirlo's dismissal, who is planning to undergo a squad revamp.
A decision over Ronaldo's future will not be made until after Euro 2020, where he will be attempting to retain the title with holders Portugal.
Nevertheless, any move away from Juve could prove difficult due to his eye-watering £510,000-a-week wages.
The Covid-19 pandemic has damaged club finances across the globe, meaning only a handful of teams would likely be able to afford him.
United are one of those clubs, and Ronaldo has refused to rule out a potential return to Old Trafford in the past.
PSG would also have enough in the bank to prise the five-time Ballon d'Or winner away from Italy, but Madrid currently have financial difficulties and were recently forced to impose a 10 per cent wage cut on their playing squad.
