Alongside a photo of him in training, Ronaldo said: ‘More important than the number of falls you take in life, is how fast and how strong you get back on your feet… True champions never break!
‘Our focus is already in Cagliari, in the Serie A struggle, in the Italian Cup final and in everything that we can still achieve this season.
‘It’s true that the past belongs in museums (I should say!), but fortunately, football has memory… and so do I!
‘History can’t be deleted, it’s written every single day with resilience, team spirit, persistence and lots of hard work.

Latest reports in Spanish media state Ronaldo is keen to return to Real Madrid this summer, with Juve willing to sell for just £25million.
The 36-year-old joined the Italian champions from the Spanish outfit in an £88million deal in 2018, with the hope he would lead his new side to a Champions League title, something that has escaped them since 1996.
Ronaldo’s £28m-per-year salary make him one of the highest earners in Andrea Pirlo’s squad
Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane (R) won three Champions League titles alongside Ronaldo (L)
But since he joined, they have been knocked out by Ajax, Lyon and now Porto.
His £28m-per-year salary means he is the club’s highest earner and the report adds that could lead Juventus to offloading him this summer.
Ronaldo helped guide Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid to four Champions League titles in five seasons, as well as leading the club to two LaLiga titles during his nine-year stay, which saw him score 450 goals in 438 appearances across all competitions.
