Ronaldo ‘always eats same basic meal’ before every match with no Coca Cola
Cristiano Ronaldo has always been very particular about what he eats to keep the impressive physique he has mustered.
The Portugal international keeps himself in incredible shape and is part of the football legend's ongoing status as one of the best to ever play the game.
Despite being at the ripe old age of 36, Ronaldo continues to dominate headlines with his performances.
His most recent record was drawing level with Ali Daei to become the all-time highest international goalscorer.
The Juventus star's brace against France took him to 109 goals for Portugal and it would take a hardy gambler to bet against him taking the record outright by the end of Euro 2020.
Away from the pitch, Ronaldo remains as relevant as ever and caused a stir when he removed two Coca Cola bottles from his press conference.
"Drink water," the five-time Ballon d'Or winner said, a gesture towards UEFA's sponsorship deals with businesses that are not actually aligned to football.
His actions saw an incredible loss to the company's stock as well, worth around $4m.
It also gave an insight into how Ronaldo keeps in shape, sticking to a strict diet complete without any fizzy drinks.
And that has been backed up by his Juventus teammate Daouda Peeters, who has gone into detail over how the former Real Madrid man stays healthy.
Asked byASwhat Ronaldo has for his dinner, Peeters replied: "Always the same. Broccoli, chicken and rice. With litres of water, and no Coca-Cola, of course."

It is not exciting, it is not even particularly tasty – but those are the lengths the five-time Champions League winner will go to in order to remain the best of the best.
As a result, the veteran forward has just seven per cent body fat and the man himself has insisted he could play until he is 40.
Peeters added: "Cristiano wants to win always and everywhere. I went to the gym for a while and, of course, Cristiano was also there.
"I was impressed. Cristiano has the perfect body for a footballer. And although I am also quite muscular, that day I thought; there’s still work to be done. But hey, he’s been doing it maniacally for so many years.”
