Romelu Lukaku has told an Inter Milan fan that his proposed move to rival Serie A club Juventus is unlikely to materialise.
Lukaku, 30, spent last season on loan at Inter, but the future of the Belgian striker remains up in the air as he seeks a move away from Chelsea.
The Blues reportedly rejected an offer from Juventus to take Lukaku on loan for the season – but the striker has expressed doubts over the move.
In an interaction captured by a Tiktok user, and reshared on Twitter, an Inter fan implored Lukaku: ‘If you sign for Juve, NEVER say come on Juve.’
The Belgian striker laughed about the request, responding ‘No no never’, before adding: ‘I don’t think the deal will go through’.

The Belgian striker had a successful year on loan with Inter from Premier League side Chelsea
It follows reports that Lukaku had been negotiating with Juventus for several months about a possible move to Turin, albeit without success.
The move is viewed by some in Inter circles as a betrayal, with Lukaku on the club’s books permanently between 2019 and 2021 before rejoining on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.
Fellow striker Lautaro Martinez has criticised the attitude of his former Inter team-mate, telling Gazzetta dello Sport: ‘I was disappointed, it’s the truth. I also tried to call him in those days of chaos, he never answered me, the same he did with my other companions.
‘After so many years together, after so many things lived together, I was disappointed. Thankfully, it’s his choice. I wish him the best. But I didn’t expect this attitude.’
He scored 14 goals in 37 games for Inter last season, helping the team reach the Champions League final. They were interested in his services permanently, and had a second bid worth £26m rejected, before pulling out of the race to sign him.
Chelsea insist Lukaku’s price tag remains £34.2m, although he is not included in the plans of new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
