Rivaldo wouldn’t be surprised if Arsenal sign Raphinha and Utd land Antony
Brazilian legend Rivaldo wouldn't be surprised if Raphinha and Antony join big Premier League clubs this summer.
Arsenal are reportedly leading the chase for Leeds United's Raphinha, 25. The Gunners are believed to be weighing up a bid of around £60million including add-ons, after having their initial approach rejected.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been closely linked with 22-year-old Ajax winger Antony, who could follow his manager Erik ten Hag in a move to Old Trafford this summer. And 2002 World Cup winner Rivaldo believes the two Brazilian wingers are ready for big moves in this summer's transfer window.

He told Betfair: "Arsenal are still chasing Raphinha's signature, and could go over €50million (£43million) to achieve it.
"Nowadays, Raphinha is seen as a big player in English football and is a regular in the Brazilian national team, so, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him move to a bigger Premier League club, which would mean that his presence at the World Cup will become even more likely, especially as he has been a regular in Tite's squads lately."
Raphinha impressed with 11 Premier League goals last campaign, while Antony caught the eye with 12 goals and 10 assists in all competitions. And Rivaldo has tipped both players' potential moves to put them in good stead ahead of Brazil's World Cup squad selection for Qatar later this year.

Rivaldo explained: "Antony can do wonders at Manchester United and the World Cup. He enjoyed a fantastic 2021-22 season and I'm sure he attracted the attention of bigger clubs.
"At the moment, Manchester United – who have his former manager Erik ten Hag – seems to be the closest club to signing him and I'm confident we'll all enjoy watching him play at Old Trafford.
"Just like Raphinha, he might benefit from playing at a bigger club to get closer to being a regular at the World Cup, though I also think his place in the squad is safe since Tite has been calling him up lately and has confidence in his qualities."
