Reece James leaves Chelsea fans and FPL managers heartbroken with fresh injury
Chelsea fans and fantasy football managers alike covered their eyes in horror after watching Reece James limp off in the second half of the Blues' 2-0 win over Bournemouth tonight.
The colossally-talented right back, who missed the World Cup with England through injury, was making his first appearance since mid-October, but was hooked after just 50 minutes after going down with what looked like another knee injury.
Chelsea manager Graham Potter said after the game that he wasn't sure how serious the problem was but admitted that losing James for any amount of time was "a blow".

"We'll have to see in the next 24 to 48 hours," Potter told Amazon Prime. "We're disappointed to lose him in the manner that we did. You can see his quality. It's a blow for us. Fingers crossed. We'll see how bad it is."
Stamford Bridge fell eerily silent when James dropped to the floor with his hands on his head, and the devastation was echoed by fans on social media.
"Reece James can’t be injured again. He brings so much whenever he’s playing – defensively sound and offensively he’s a menace. Top quality footballer," one fan tweeted.

"Reece James injured AGAIN! What in the witchcraft is going on," asked another fan, while a third wrote: "Must admit you hope that’s not a bad injury for Reece James. Feel for the kid".
Similarly, fantasy football players were dismayed by the news, with one tweeting: "Reece James in FPL is a roller coaster man, you either get an 18 pointer or a 1 pointer. No in between".
Another wrote: "Reece James. Always a thorn in my FPL team."
James' injury aside, it was a good day at the office for Chelsea, who registered their first Premier League win in over two months.
First half goals from Kai Havertz and Mason Mount made the difference as Potter's side climbed to eighth in the table.
