Real Madrid, PSG and Inter Milan are all tracking Jesse Lingard ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports. The England international has been in fine form for West Ham since joining Manchester United in the New Year. And the Red Devils could cash in on the 28-year-old at the end of the campaign.

Lingard was written off as a United flop upon leaving Old Trafford in January.

But the West Ham star has been a player reborn over in the capital, dazzling and taking the London Stadium by storm.

Lingard took his Hammers goal tally to eight from nine games on Sunday, scoring a brace in West Ham’s 3-2 win over Leicester.

He’s now scored in four consecutive games, too, with David Moyes’ side now daring to dream of securing Champions League qualification.

And ESPN claim that Real Madrid, PSG and Inter Milan are among the clubs monitoring Lingard’s situation at the current moment in time.

West Ham want a permanent deal for the playmaker.

Yet a number of top clubs are now keen on Lingard and, while they’ve helped relaunch the player’s career, they could now miss out.

Real Madrid haven’t signed a player from United since Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to the Bernabeu back in the summer transfer window of 2009.

But Los Blancos are eyeing a move, with Zinedine Zidane likely to offload Arsenal loanee Martin Odegaard at the end of the season.

PSG are in the picture, too, with Mauricio Pochettino determined to improve his squad.

And Inter Milan, not content with raiding United for Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Ashley Young in recent times, are also admirers of the West Ham star.

Lingard, for his part, is yet to make up his mind about his future.

But he’d like to be playing in the Champions League next term, meaning West Ham’s best chance of a deal is to finish in the Premier League top four.

Former United star Roy Keane, meanwhile, hailed Lingard for his performance against Leicester on Sunday – but did criticise his goal celebration.

“One (out of 10 for the dance),” he said.

“I used to do this dance after a Bacardi and coke. When he scores goals like that, then I suppose I have to give him some credit.

“What I’ll give Jesse credit for is he’s turned up at West Ham, having not played much football for Man United over the last few months, so he’s obviously kept himself in good shape, it’s the sign of a good pro.

“He had a difficult spell at Man United, maybe took his eye off the ball off the field, but he looks focused, looks hungry, he always had that talent and it’s great to see it.”

Moyes wants Lingard to continue his fine form.

“Well, he has been crucial before that,” said the Scot when asked if Lingard had become an even bigger asset.

“He has come in and helped the team greatly in the way he has played and also his attitude around the club, it has lifted us up.

“I didn’t expect Jesse to probably get as many goals so I am really thrilled with the amount of goals he is getting at the moment and long may it continue.”

The Scot then admitted he was torn after West Ham’s win, with his side coming precariously close to throwing their lead away.

“A bit of both,” he said when asked if he was happy or relieved.

“I am disappointed with the way we finished the game in the last 20 to 30 minutes.

“I thought for 50 or 60 minutes we played really well, 3-0 up and maybe could have been 4-0 up so a little bit disappointed with that.

“But we have to get out of the habit of going 3-0 up and conceding goals after that, I don’t want that and I made the players well aware of it.”
