  • Gareth Bale, Isco and Marcelo will be out of contract at Real Madrid in June
  • The departure of the trio will free up a massive £50million in wages for the club
  • Bale is currently Los Blancos’ highest earner, pocketing £600,000-per-week
  • Madrid are reportedly eyeing moves for Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland

Real Madrid are keen to offload Gareth Bale, Isco and Marcelo in order to fund their summer transfer plans, according to reports from Spain.

The trio will be out of contract at the Bernabeu on June 30 and the LaLiga giants are said to be prepared to allow them to leave, which will free up a massive £50million in wages.

The out-of-contract stars have a combined 800 appearances for Los Blancos but they also have some of the highest wages and the club have decided to call time on their stay in the Spanish capital, according to AS.

Bale’s departure in particular would lift the pressure of the books as the Welshman is currently Madrid highest earner, pocketing £600,000-per-week.

The winger has not been a regular starter at the Bernabeu since the 2018-19 season, making just three appearance this term after spending the last campaign out on loan at Tottenham.

The 32-year-old’s exit would free up the funds needed to meet the salary demands of their reported priority target, Kylian Mbappe.

Madrid were rebuffed in their pursuit of the Frenchman last summer but with his contract expiring at the end of the season, they are expected to make another move.

The 23-year-old earns £300,000-per-week at the Parc des Princes but it is believed he will demand more than double that figure to move to Madrid.

Left-back Marcelo, 33, has been almost synonymous with Los Blancos for over a decade but his 15-year spell at the club also appears to be coming to an end.

The club captain has made just six appearances this term with manager Carlo Ancelotti preferring Ferland Mendy.

The five-time LaLiga champion reportedly earns around £250,000-per-week which would allow Madrid to make a move for Antonio Rudiger.

Madrid are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for the Chelsea defender when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer.

The LaLiga leaders have also been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund starlet Erling Haaland who could be available for £68m in the summer when his release clause kicks in.

The 21-year-old has attracted attention from across Europe’s elite, including Manchester City, but Madrid are believed to be in pole position.

Madrid were handed a boost when the striker reportedly told star struck football supporters that he will ‘play here in Spain’ whilst enjoying a holiday in Marbella.

Where the Norwegian ends up going, he will also demand a heavy salary which Madrid could also fund with the departure of another star.

Isco has struggled for game time this season this season with just seven league appearances and is also out of contract in June.

The 29-year-old is believed to earn more than £200,000-per-week and is said to want to leave the club in summer in order to revive his career, freeing up Madrid’s books for Haaland.
