Real Madrid chief Carlo Ancelotti has opened the door for Gareth Bale to complete a sensational return to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season – and he insisted that the Welshman can sign off in style by helped Real clinch another Champions League crown.
Bale earned his record-breaking move to Real Madrid after starring for Tottenham earlier his career before he made a brief return to north London on a season-long loan deal last term.
The 32-year-old has won a host of trophies during his eight-and-a-half-year stint in Spain.
But despite popping up with some vital goals, Bale hasn’t always been first-choice during his time at the Bernabeu.
Bale is due to be a free agent in the summer when his lavish Real contract expires – and he’s been linked with another return to Tottenham in recent weeks.

And Ancelotti has paved the way for Bale to make an emotional return to north London.
“Bale has not disrespected his teammates, he trains well, he is professional,” Ancelotti said. “He wants to finish here as he deserves.
“Because he has helped win the Champions League, he has done important things… And I think that finishing here well would be good for his career.
“So I talk to Bale and try to listen to the problems he has like I do with everyone. My personal relationship with the players is good.”
With Bale’s exit now on the horizon, there had been some speculation that the attacker could choose to hang up his boots in the summer.
But TuttoMercatoWeb claimed earlier this week that Bale had penned a pre-contract agreement to return to Tottenham.
During his year-long stint back in the capital, Bale racked up 11 goals in 20 Premier League games before he returned to Madrid in the summer.
Under Ancelotti, Bale has been integrated back into Real’s team after finding himself ostracised under Zinedine Zidane.

And Bale was even handed his first start since August during Real’s 0-0 draw with Villarreal on Saturday evening.
He’s set to continue his mini-revival by taking part in Real’s crunch Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The veteran has already tasted Champions League glory on four different occasions during his Real career.
And there’s every chance that Bale could seal a staggering fifth European title before his summer exit if Real can negotiate their way through a tricky tie against the French giants.
