Real Madrid ace David Alaba thinks England has one of the greatest midfielders
Real Madrid ace David Alaba believes Jude Bellingham is one of the “greatest midfield talents in the world.”
The classy Austrian joins the long list of current and former players to tout the Borussia Dortmund ace for international stardom. Despite only being 19-years-old, Bellingham already has a price tag purported to be around £105million.
That is because the England international is proving to be mature beyond his youthful years, having already accumulated 15 international caps for England and 98 appearances for the Bundesliga giants. And Alaba believes greatness may well be awaiting the precocious midfield talent who has already been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United.

“As for Bellingham as a player, I can say that he is one of the greatest midfield talents in the world,” Alaba said to German outlet Welt. “And that at a young age!
“At just 19, he leads the team, doesn't hide and already decides games with his style of play.” Bellingham opened up his goalscoring account of the season with a neat finish to cap off a wonderful counterattack in Dortmund’s 3-0 Champions League victory over Copenhagen.
He has also played the full 90 minutes in every single one of Dortmund’s Bundesliga matches this campaign. Providing there are no injuries, Bellingham will likely be part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad ahead of Nations League fixtures against Italy and Germany.

Similarly to former Dortmund teammate Jadon Sancho, the former Birmingham City captain has repeatedly been linked with a big money move to the Premier League. Sancho’s current club Manchester United have been one of the main contenders, while Liverpool have also expressed an interest.
However, Bellingham put an end to any rumours at the tail end of last season, committing his future to Dortmund for the current campaign. “I will be here at Borussia Dortmund next season. I'm ready,” he said, as quoted by reports in Germany.
“The only future I'm thinking about is the next game with Dortmund.”
