Rashford’s message to Van de Beek shows feelings inside Man Utd dressing room

Marcus Rashford has sent a message to Donny van de Beek after the Dutchman ended his Old Trafford nightmare on Transfer Deadline Day.

Everton announced the acquisition of Van de Beek, from Manchester United, on a loan deal until the end of the season.

And Van de Beek will be hoping to remind people why he was one of Europe's most wanted midfielder's while at Ajax.

Despite his promise at Ajax, the Dutchman struggled for game time at United, and fans were baffled by his treatment.

But Rashford has pleaded with his teammate: "My brother. Go show them what you can do."

Van de Beek said: "I had a really positive meeting with the new coach.

"We have the same ideas about football and he had a lot of influence on my decision.

"I played against him when I was at Ajax, and he was at Chelsea [as manager], so he knows me as a player.

"He thinks I have qualities that can help the team. I can learn a lot from him because he was a little bit in the same position – a midfield player who scored a lot of goals."
