Pulisic’s new haircut has fans in stitches as he ‘looks like he’s in NSYNC’
Christian Pulisic has been ridiculed for his new haircut which he showed off for the first time as he arrived at training with the American national team.
The Chelsea star is on international duty for the final four games before this winter's World Cup. He has started both their friendlies so far, a win over Morocco and a goalless draw with Uruguay, before their next two matches in the CONCACAF Nations League.
During the six-day break between the final friendly and the clash with Grenada, Pulisic has spent some time in the barbers. He showed his new look for the first time on Wednesday, with the American now sporting a mullet with frosted tips.
Sadly for Pulisic, his new haircut did not go down well with fans on social media, after footage of him arriving at training was released by the US national team. Many mocked the 23-year-old for his strange new look.
"Wow. If he goes to the World Cup looking like that he will likely regret it for the rest of his life (I know it’s just a haircut but 50-year-old Pulisic is gonna wonder “what the hell was I thinking?” when USMNT 2022 highlights are shown)," one said.

Another added: "This is why we shouldn't assume he knows anything about ticket prices when he complains about attendance. He paid someone, presumably a lot of money, to look like that."
Some were left in disbelief, with one fan saying: "I’m too stunned to even think of jokes." Others pointed to the similarities between Pulisic's new style and that worn by Detective Jake Peralta at the start of season four of comedy show Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
One said: "Looks like he got inspiration from Jake Peralta," with another adding: "Oh god not frosted tips, he must have been watching Brooklyn 99." The frosted tips also led some to believe he would have been more at home in a boy band.
"Looks like a member of nsync," one fan tweeted, with another adding: "backstreet's back, alright?" A third fan referenced Smash Mouth's hit All Star, mocking: "Hey now, he's an all star," while a final supporter merely said: "Oh Christian."
