Paris Saint-Germain are willing to let up to five players leave the French capital in the remainder of the transfer window. And a number of Premier League clubs could potentially be on red alert.

PSG’s summer transfer spree has seen the French club add a host of top-quality names to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad this summer.

But bringing in Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and the rest has left the Paris club needing to thin out their numbers, not least to balance the books for FFP.

Marca suggest that PSG are willing to sell five players from their bloated first-team squad in the remainder of the summer.

But such is the quality of the French club’s squad that those deemed surplus to requirements are still major talents.

And a number of Premier League clubs could benefit from PSG’s transfer clear-out, with some big prospects available for relatively affordable prices.

Julian Draxler – Liverpool

Liverpool face the prospect of starting a fifth season with the same front-line, and Jurgen Klopp is open to adding competition for places.

Wide forward Julian Draxler faces the prospect of minimal playing time at PSG following the arrival of Messi.

And the 27-year-old’s playing style and ability to play on either side of the front line would make a great fit for Liverpool’s tactical approach.

Thilo Kehrer – Tottenham

Tottenham are on the hunt for further defensive reinforcements, with centre-backs and defensive right-backs believed to be top of their priority list.

And 24-year-old Kehrer appears to be the perfect fit.

Villarreal’s Pau Torres has reportedly turned down Spurs due to their lack of Champions League football. But Kehrer is the same age and available for a cheaper price after being pushed out of first-team contention by the arrival of Ramos and Achraf Hakimi this summer.

Layvin Kurzawa – Man Utd

The France centre-back is open to a move away from PSG, and would represent competition for Luke Shaw at Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bring in experience at full-back, particularly to ease the workload on the much-improved Shaw.

And 28-year-old Kurzawa would prefer a move to Old Trafford to the other clubs linked with him this summer – West Ham United and Lyon.

Pablo Sarabia – Arsenal

Arsenal look set to bring in Martin Odegaard as a new creative option, but Mikel Arteta is keen to add further attacking options to his squad before the summer is out.

Former Real Madrid, Getafe and Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia would be a cheap and experienced short-term boost to the Arsenal squad.

The 29-year-old Spaniard has been largely used as a squad option by PSG in recent years. But has been pushed further down the pecking order in Paris, and is open to a move.

Rafinha – Aston Villa

Rafinha is keen for regular first-team opportunities after years on the bench at both Barcelona and PSG.

And French football expert Adam White says that Aston Villa would be the perfect fit for the Brazilian, who is even further from a consistent spot in PSG first-team thanks to this summer’s arrivals.

“I think he has already been pushed quite significantly towards the exit at PSG and he would be a good signing for Villa,” White told Footballfancast.

“The Premier League is a little bit of a step up and he wouldn’t be playing in such a dominant team, so that’s perhaps something that Villa fans will need to think about. PSG would be keen to sell.”
