PSG expect Tottenham’s Dele Alli transfer decision this week
Paris Saint-Germain expect a decision this week on their bid to sign Dele Alli.
Tottenham midfielder Alli, 24, is ready to make the loan switch after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho and PSG are pushing to do a deal.
It could appeal to all parties with Alli anxious to get game time to rediscover form, confidence and game time ahead of the Euros this summer.
PSG’s new boss Mauricio Pochettino got the best out of Alli during his time in charge at Tottenham as he became a key player for club and country.
It was Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy who blocked PSG’s moves to sign him last summer.
And the Spurs supremo may only sanction a loan move, with the obvious fears of a transfer coming back to haunt the North London club.
Alli didn't even make the nine-man bench for Spurs' 3-1 win at Sheffield United on Sunday.
On-loan Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes – who has struggled to make any real impact at the club since arriving 12 months ago – was preferred by Mourinho.
Alli moving could free up Tottenham to do business in January.
Christian Eriksen’s advisers have been trying to push a move back to England for the ex-Spurs midfielder who is out of favour at Inter Milan.
