PSG are ready to rival Bayern Munich for Tottenham striker Harry Kane after Daniel Levy met with chief executive of the Ligue 1 outfit… as Man United WOULD return for the England captain if he decides to run down Spurs contract
- Paris St Germain are ready to rival Bayern Munich for Kane this summer
- The Bundesliga side have seen two bids rejected but remain interested in Kane
- With just a season left on his contract, Kane could leave Spurs on a free next year
Paris St Germain are ready to rival Bayern Munich for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Bayern believe Kane wants to join them and their chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen met with Tottenham’s Daniel Levy on Thursday.
However, Bayern’s offers, with the latest around £70m plus add-ons, have so far failed to change Levy’s stance that Kane is not for sale.
PSG’s presence could force the price up but Bayern insist they will draw the line at a certain point and consider returning in January if Kane commits to joining them.
Manchester United, who are looking to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta now, would also return for Kane if he allows his contract to run down.

The England captain is subject of interest from Thomas Tuchel’s side but is still at Tottenham
With just a year left on his contract in London, Kane could leave on a free transfer next summer
It remains to be seen as to whether Kane will leave Spurs this summer, but with just one year left on his contract the possibility remains.
Thomas Tuchel is a huge fan of the forward but Bayern Munich have been unsuccessful so far in their pursuit of the England captain.
PSG’s interest will no doubt complicate things for the Bundesliga side if they are to seal the deal this summer.
With Luis Enrique already adding the likes of Marco Asensio and Manuel Ugarte to his squad in France this summer, Kane could join and link up with Kylian Mbappe.
Lionel Messi’s departure leaves a hole in PSG’s attack, and one that Kane could choose to fill.
