Premier League table without VAR ends up with big changes for Leeds and Arsenal
VAR has changed football, for better or worse, since its introduction at the start of the 19/20 season.
Marginal offsides are no longer for the benefit of the attacker, instead, lines are drawn as referees look through a microscope, to the annoyance of fans. But it hasn't been all bad, referee's have found a helping hand if they miss a glaring incident.
However, without VAR this season the Premier League would look slightly different with two glaring changes. Manchester City would still be champions, and Norwich and Watford would still face the drop, but fans of Arsenal and Leeds would have different emotions.
The Gunners would have finally broken their Champions League duct, beating North London rivals Tottenham to the final berth.
Spurs finished fourth on 71 points to claim a spot at Europe's premier banquet, but, without VAR, Antonio Conte's side would have only achieved 69 points.
On the flip side, Arsenal finished on 69 with VAR, and the Gunners would have jumped to 73 points without the technology – finishing one point behind Chelsea, who finished on 74 in both tables.

While it's good news for the Gunners, the same can't be said up in Yorkshire.
Leeds United avoided the drop on the final day of the season, becoming the first side in 11 years to escape the relegation one on the final day of the season. But in a world without VAR, Leeds would be back in the Championship.
Leeds, who finished on 38, would have been relegated on 36 points due to Burnley's better goal difference.
