One Premier League cult hero looks dramatically different 15 years on from scoring an outrageous screamer against Arsenal.

Geovanni didn't have a conventional route to Premier League success, with the Brazilian coming through the ranks at Cruzeiro around the same time Ronaldinho was making a name for himself Brazil.

A move to Barcelona followed for the creative talent but after a lacklustre two seasons at the Catalan giants, he was moved onto Benfica.

Three years in Portugal and a return to Cruzeiro preceded a transfer to Manchester City where hopes were high but he failed to make a real impact for Sven-Goran Eriksson's side. It was the two seasons that followed that shocked Premier League fans as the Brazilian was sent east to Hull City.

Thanks to moments of magic, the Tigers managed to keep their place in the top flight and part of their survival was Geovanni's stunning strike against Arsenal. The rocket of a shot from 30+ yards out left Manuel Alumnia helpless in goal for the gunners.

Despite helping keep Hull up in the 2008/09 season, his moments of magic were fleeting the following season and it wasn't enough to keep his side in the top flight.

The midfielder made the switch to the US where he turned out for San Jose Earthquakes before heading to Vitoria and eventually winding his career down back in Brazil with Bragantino.

Now, Geovanni would struggle to be recognised by some of the most seasoned Hull City supporters as he looks unrecognisable 13 years on from leaving the MKM Stadium.
