Prem target Darwin Nunez responds to transfer rumours after scaring Liverpool
Benfica goal-machine Darwin Nunez has left the door open for a potential move to the Premier League this summer after netting against Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old, who is being eyed by the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and even Liverpool themselves, has been in red-hot form this season, bagging 32 goals in 37 games in all competitions so far.
Benfica's impressive run in Europe may have come to an abrupt end at Anfield last night, but Nunez gave English fans a taste of what he's capable of after ghosting in at the back post to lift the ball over Allisson and grab a late consolation for the visitors.
Nunez was asked what the future held for him after the game and set hearts racing after refusing to commit to Benfica beyond the summer.
"Future? I want to stay focused on Benfica until the end of the season, then we'll see," he said.
West Ham United came close to landing Nunez in January before complications over agent fees saw talks break down, much to the frustration of David Moyes whose Hammers side have been short on goals since Michail Antonio's form dipped.

Should Benfica allow Nunez to leave this summer it's thought that clubs will need to shell out at least £60 million to sign him, and with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all sniffing around for a new centre forward, we could be in for one heck of a bidding war.
Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the striker, though if Joao Felix's £119 million move to Atletico Madrid in 2019 tells us anything it's that Benfica will only sell if the price is right.
