Manchester United fans have ruthlessly mocked Paul Pogba following their 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Newcastle on Sunday. The France international left Old Trafford for Juventus back in the summer. However, his time in Italy is yet to live up to expectations…
Manchester United were too strong for Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final, putting in a professional performance to take the trophy home.
Casemiro opened the scoring with a thunderbolt header, with Marcus Rashford also netting on a positive afternoon.
United fans have been jubilant in the time since with their side starting to look the real deal again.
And some have decided to fire shots at Pogba, who left the Red Devils for Juventus in the summer believing the grass would be greener.
“Manchester United won a trophy before Paul Pogba could even make his debut,” were the words of @Mufcchap.

Pogba is yet to play a competitive fixture for Juventus since returning from United back in the summer.
However, he could finally make his bow when the Old Lady lock horns with Torino in Serie A on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
As for United, meanwhile, Gary Neville believes his old side have ben remarkably transformed since the appointment of Ten Hag back in the summer.
“It’s about one man that has transformed a team from whiners into winners – what a job Erik ten Hag has done,” he said.
“Players are out there that shouldn’t have played for Manchester United again but they are performing at a high level.

“They have a spirit and a fight. There is a real chance of winning trophies beyond this.
“He makes good decisions in matches – his subs were critical in making sure they saw this game out. It’s been a brilliant last few months.”
And he added: “At the end of last season, some of those players were part of a team labelled a disgrace by me and other Man Utd fans. It was horrible to watch. They were divided.
“The turnaround is transformational. It’s unbelievable what Erik ten Hag has done.
“From 2003 and 2006, we didn’t win a trophy and you feel like you’re never going to win a league again, or you’re not going to be up there again.
“This trophy was the catalyst for feeling confident and putting belief into the squad.”
Next up for United is West Ham in the FA Cup on Wednesday.
And the Red Devils will be hoping for a repeat of their 1-0 win over the Hammers at Old Trafford earlier in the season.
