Piers Morgan says ‘Kai Havertz is getting worse’ and lays boot into Arsenal flop
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan thinks Kai Havertz is "getting worse" and not better.
Mikel Arteta's side cruised to a 3-1 home victory over struggling Burnley at the Emirates Stadium. However, the German forward endured another anonymous display for the North Londoners.
After starting the match in his favoured No.10 role, with Jorginho and Declan Rice covering behind him, Havertz was hauled off after only 59 minutes in place of Fabio Vieira. As the former Chelsea man's struggles continue, the ex-Britain's Got Talent host was anything but sympathetic towards the midfielder.

Morgan took to Twitter to vent his frustrations over the forward. He wrote, "Havertz is getting worse." It is not the first time Morgan has ranted about Havertz and, if current form is anything to go by, it will not be the last.
He joined the club from the West Londoners in a hefty £65m deal in the summer transfer window. Unfortunately for the Gunners, his investment has only returned one assist and one goal, which was a penalty his team-mates let him take in a 4-0 away victory against Bournemouth.

However, Arteta has persisted with deploying him in the starting XI for all but three of his 12 Premier League appearances. The ex-Manchester City assistant manager has also insisted that, contrary to the opinions of people like Morgan, he has been satisfied with Havertz's displays.
“I don’t know. I can tell you that I’m really pleased with the way he’s performing," Arteta said in a recent press conference.
“Obviously, looking at the numbers, just specifically the numbers of what he’s producing in front of goal, those have to be improved and we have to improve them.
"But, in many other areas of the pitch, what he gives to the team at the moment is really important.”
