Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back in Arsenal training but may not feature at Wolves
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has returned to training at Arsenal's London Colney base – but he remains a doubt to face Wolves on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners captain has missed the his side's last three games to be with his mother, who has been unwell.
It is not known whether Aubameyang travelled abroad, but he has been in quarantine and Mikel Arteta said he can only return when permitted to do so under Premier League rules.
"We have to follow the rules and the protocols right now," said the Gunners boss on Saturday. "And the protocols says that he cannot be involved at the moment.
"We have to respect that and the doctor is managing the situation currently."
Aubameyang subsequently returned to Arsenal training on Monday, but Arteta is no closer to knowing whether the Gabonese striker can be involved against 14hth-placed Wolves.
Quizzed on whether the 31-year-old will be available for the trip to Molineux, Arteta said: "There are still some things to clear up.
"Maybe yes, maybe no. We don’t know. We’re still doing some paperwork at the moment."

Aubameyang has missed the 1-0 FA Cup defeat by Southampton, the 3-1 win over the Saints in the Premier League, and the 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
He confirmed the reason for his absence with a heartfelt social media post last week, saying: "Hey guys, Thank you so much for all the messages and calls over the last few days.
"My mother is going through some health issues and I had to be there for her. She's already much better now and I will be back home tonight.
"I'm more than grateful to the doctors and nurses for helping her get through this.
"And of course, thanks to my Arsenal fam for the love yesterday! I'm more determined than ever to keep our momentum going!
"Thank you all again – I really am beyond blessed to receive this level of support and love from all of you and I can't wait to be back."
