Mathias Pogba has weighed in on his younger brother Paul’s future as the Manchester United star continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford. Real Madrid and Juventus remain keen on signing the French World Cup winner, who has just 12 months remaining on his contract.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stressed his desire to see Paul Pogba extend his stay at United.
He plans to hold talks with the 28-year-old at the end of the season to try and get a contract extension sorted.
The Red Devils do not want Pogba to walk away for free again, just as he did in 2012.
So they may have to cash in this summer if they cannot convince him that his future lies with the 13-time Premier League champions.
However, Mathias has recommended that his younger sibling tries to complete a move to La Liga giants Barcelona.

“I hope my brother [Pogba] signs with Barcelona,” he told El Chiringuito TV last night.
Barcelona are in the market for a midfielder with Ronald Koeman keen to sign Liverpool star Gini Wijnaldum.
But Koeman’s own position is up in the air after a dismal season in which Barca look set to finish third in the table and crashed out of the Champions League in the last-16.
Meanwhile, Pogba has been revitalised with United this season in a new position on the left flank.
“I am feeling happy here,” he recently said. “I play on the left-hand side in a kind of No 8 position — wide, but with freedom when we have the ball.

“I enjoy playing there. I link up well with Bruno [Fernandes] and Luke [Shaw], and the balance of the team is good too.”
Solskjaer revealed that he is planning to sit down with Pogba this summer.
“I had Paul when he was a reserve player as well and he knows my feelings about him and that I want him to stay,” he explained.
“I have always said with Paul that I enjoy managing him, I enjoy coaching him, I enjoy talking to him and I also enjoy challenging him because he is a winner.
“He wants to be better and that’s why he listens.
“You can see he’s enjoying himself here. He has a smile on his face.
“It’s important we treat each other with respect – and I try to treat everyone with the same amount of respect – but there are some players you have known since they were young lads and that’s the case with Paul.
“The longer you have known them, the easier it is to have a bond with them.
“It’s about creating a competitive environment that we can all thrive in and a competitive team challenging for trophies.”
